1,000 REASONS TO BE HAPPY

INTRODUCTION

 

Whatever the reasons:

That the bills are paid,

That the fish are biting,

That the clock is on time,

That the sea comes to the shore,

That the milk hasn't curdled,

That the can-can was invented,

That it's your birthday tomorrow,

Or that there are pancakes at teatime,

 

Happiness comes in all shapes and forms,

And a little bit of happiness does everone a whole lot of good,

 

  • The imagination of a good author is always cause for happiness to their audiences
  • No night is empty when it is starlit
  • I am happy in the company of the wind when it blows through my hair
  • Sunny days in the middle of cold winters are enough to lift our spirits
  • Any form of miracle makes me happy
  • Long walks through the summer grass makes me happy
  • Happiness is the blazing colors of fall
  • Nothing makes me happier than being able to trust someone
  • A smile is a curve that sets everything straight
  • I am happy that tomorrow is another day
  • I love having something to remember
  • Happiness is my world to enjoy
  • Happiness comes through feeling at peace
  • Happiness is crunching ice cubes on hot summer days
  • Happiness is scraping out the mixing bowl
  • Happiness is about feeling safe
  • Happiness is a mug of hot cocoa on a cold winter evening, beside the fire
  • There's happiness in the well-earned break as well as the job well done.
  • Anything that I have created for myself (collages) gives me great happiness
  • I still like finding a penny and making a wish
  • Receiving a thank you when I have put myself out to help makes me happy
  • I love it when something so good that it exceeds description
  • Happiness is an in-tray that's out
  • Extraordinary People Can Never Be Replaced By Machines
  • Knowing exactly what I want frees me from the unhappiness of uncertainty
  •  Knowing we made the right decision is the greatest cause for happiness
